Reviews
Verona is a great hidden gem in Farmingdale! There is a lot of variety especially vegan and vegetarian options. My family and I went during restaurant week and were all very pleased with our food, all six of us! The service was also great and there was even live music on the Saturday night we visited. I will definitely be returning.
We had a really great Christmas Eve dinner tonight with my sister in law and family. The price fixe menu was very reasonably priced and the food was super yummy. The owner Gary was very friendly and we will definitely be back.
Was in town because a loved one passed and needed a place for our group to meet after. They were accommodating. Good ambiance. Attentive service. Food was pretty good, but not fantastic.
Tomato sauce on the veal dish with mushrooms was a little more like tomato soup, slightly creamy, wasn't bad but not what I had expected.
The price on the set menu was reasonable but I did find the fact that everyone has to get the same first dish not ideal. Luckily they were accommodating to diet restrictions for those who needed it and substituted something else.
Also, there was a charge on the bill for putting the table together for our event... not sure if this is standard practice, but it's something to be aware of.
Overall, very good experience and I would highly recommend checking this place out when in the area.
We've been here several times with small groups (4) and larger (12+) and everything has been wonderful!
One of my favorites is the veal chop. It's served "tomahawk style" & is so tender and delicious that you don't need the sauce. Don't get me wrong, the sauce is good, too, but the chop is perfect be itself!!
The place has party areas with different sizes for birthdays and number of people, very attentive and friendly service, delicious food, a wine that the waiter Miguel recommended, it was right for my palate... very good prices according to the pocket, Excellent!! sure i will come back !!
The place is very nice and the staff are amazing. Our server Stephanie was pleasant and Jose was phenomenal.
We all got the special and it is very worth it. Delicious food all around.
It's a great place with friends and I can see taking a date here too.
Came here for Valentine’s Day/engagment celebration and was seated closer side of the outside windows which was blasting cold air which made it very uncomfortable. There should be heaters there for such cold weather.
We ordered the pre-fix menu and they totally forgot about our appetizers. We waited a long while for our appetizers and instead the entree came out first. Informed the waiter about our appetizer never came out and he said he would take care of it and take it off the bill, but that did not happen. My steak flavor was pretty good, but it was already cold when it came out from the kitchen.
Overall the food and dessert wasn’t bad.
But the service was atrocious.
The only reason for even a star is because the host that seated us was very pleasant and friendly.
Pasta was perfectly cooked. Meat was tender and sweet and the sauce was silky and creamy! Highly recommend. I am booking my rehearsal dinner here soon. We got the penne vodka and pappardelle bolognese.
